Noynoy Aquino hits a new low

Candidates criticized for having no experience — like JFK or Obama — counter this by proving themselves as people with the judgment to be President. Noynoy is facing the same criticism, yet has hardly shown any judgment. His latest ad, while to a lot is just the same cheap gimmickry, is for me the clearest sign of his lack of judgment so far.

His ad shows a lack of judgment for several reasons: it misrepresents who he is, the pandering presentation is not congruent with his call for us to seek our higher selves, and he has resulted to traditional political parlor games, casting him in a light no different — and perhaps even worse — than the most-trapoest-trapo-of-them-all, Villar.

So if I were you, I’d share this video with all those still making up their minds on who to vote for. Help our country by not getting Noynoy Aquino elected in May.

How dare he speak about change after this; the campaign is bringing out the worst in him

1986, Never Again. Say No to Noynoy Aquino.

  1. I find it funny how at anytime they show a crowd at a distance it’s so obviously the same group of improbably costumed people cloned all over the place.

  2. I’m not enthusiastic about Villar, but if it comes down to a 2 person race I’m going for the one that’s not Noynoy.

  3. Recently, my dad received a text message, and i think it’s worth sharing.

Kung si Villar, “Sipag at Tiyaga”,
at si Gibo, “Galing at Talino”,
    si Noynoy, “Mama at Papa”.

Funny, but true. It was like, his mom and dad gave him the bid, but hasn’t done anything to prove that he is worth voting for. I think that if Pres. Cory Aquino had died much later, he wouldn’t receive much support as compared to what he is enjoying now. I feel that he is just taking advantage of the sympathy of the people towards the Aquino family.

Martin, may I ask your thoughts on my opinion. I’m a new voter, and I would like to choose the candidate that I deem is best.

  4. What Noynoy has is a mere name and sad to say, nothing else. For 9 years as a congressman, news report blurted out a very embarrassing credit (or aptly, a discredit) – He passed only one law. At the Senate, he was jokingly paired with Lito Lapid – as the latter’s vice chair of their secluded Committee on Silence. Villar was right when he said that credibility (of famous parents) cannot be inherited. More so if Cory’s credibility as efficient chief executive is talked about. History showed there were 9 coups d’etat during her time because of inefficiency and poor performance. That’s why when she called for GMA’s resignation at the height of scandals rocking the presidency, for loss of confidence and moral ascendancy over her people was, to many who knew the past, a “look at yourself in the mirror” stuff. So, if you want proper educational attainment, proven track record and exemplary performance, we can count on just one candidate and, to many, it’s not of course Villar, Estrada, Gordon (preferred person but with wrong candidacy at the wrong time), Villanueva and the like.

  5. It is NOT surprising at all that I actually have the same opinions with the people here. Most of my thoughts have been stated already but I just have a few things to add. Let’s say that Noynoy becomes president and that throughout his “reign” he stole not one centavo from us. Well, then he did live up to his “promise”. However, would it really make much difference? Isn’t it that the Philippines is “one of the most corrupt countries in the world”? From this fact, I can say that even if the president were not corrupt, if the rest(or most) of the officials were corrupt, then his administration would still be called “corrupt”.

In short, one “honest” person in the government would not be enough to eradicate this problem of corruption. Well, there are exceptions though–charismatic people (Gandhi!). Although I hate to judge people, I must say that Noynoy’s “charisma” (for now) only springs from the popularity of his parents and from the “people’s sympathy to the Aquino family”. Thus, in time, people’s support might possibly just fade away and it would then be very difficult for Noynoy(by himself–using his own ‘determination and strength’) to influence people to change.

Lastly, I’m most worried about how he will handle all the stress and pressures of being the President of the Philippines, especially since people have high expectations for him. Again, I don’t want to judge people but he doesn’t seem to be the type who is really strong and firm enough to stand for his decisions if everyone else were to go against him. I’m just afraid that people, especially his officials, would take advantage of this weakness and use it to pursue their own interests.

I really hope that the elections would go well! (sorry for the long comment)

  6. By the way… I can’t vote yet so it’s quite frustrating! I hope that people would make good use of their votes and I hope that when the time comes for me to vote, all the (presidential) candidates would be mature, sincere and highly qualified that thinking of whom to choose would give me a headache :) (btw, I’m not a masochist haha)

  7. i think i’m gonna smoke myself some weed just to shake it off…or make up my mind and vote VIllar because of this….

  8. Ano daw? “GABAY NI CORY”??????? ano si cory? FAIRY GOD MOTHER?? nako! eh kay villar nalang ako!!
